Carter Home Services is a family run business; father and sons, but they also have many roofers working for them as well. We got several bids for our roof. We chose Carter’s not because they were the cheapest, they were not and they were not the most expensive, but because they took the time to explain how they would handle our roof. We have a ranch house with an added wing, and the added-on roof is difficult from a roofing perspective.
The roof was done beautifully; it looks great. We had one small issue after the job was complete, a small leak right where the wing joined the house. We emailed Carter Home Services and they got in touch with us right away. They came back out and fixed the issue.
I think the best way to judge a company is not only by their work, which as I said the workmanship is beautiful but also on how they handle an issue or complaint. They came back out right away, with a “whatever it takes attitude”. It was fixed and we were happy.
We’ve had Carter Home Services back again recently to put in an attic door and ladder in the add-on. Again, beautiful workmanship and prompt service. They couldn’t come the day they had scheduled so Mr. Carter drove to my house to let me know they were running over on a job, and he rescheduled our appointment for the next working day. You won’t find that type of service with many companies. Most of the phone numbers we found for roofing companies were local phone numbers, but the people were not local. One company was out of Nashville, and another was from Alabama. I want work done by local people so we can keep the money in Clarksville.

This company went way above than just doing the roof. They dealt with the insurance company with many requested items. The workers were very polite and made sure that the roof was done the correct way. I would recommend this company to any of my friends and family.

Itâ s a breath of fresh air to find a company that is respectful, honest and takes pride in their work. Lenny and his crew have done two projects four my wife and I first they replaced my roof the professionalism was outstanding Lenny and his crew answered any and all questions that either of us had and talk to us like actual people to find a company that respects their customers is hard to fine nowadays. They also tore down and replaced my back porch and now I canâ t keep my wife in the house she loves the back porch when he came out after the job was done and inspected it himself seen a few things that werenâ t wrong but he wasnâ t comfortable with it so he got up there and reinforced what he felt needed to be done this was amazing when he and his crew will be doing more projects for my wife and I in the near future. I would highly recommend Lenny and his crew to anyone. On another note after the recent storms that have left many homeless we got a call from Lennys wife to check and see if the family was OK and to see if there was any damage to the recent work they had done. This is unheard of and I was so touched that it actually took me a while to put this review in because I wanted to let people know that you will not fine a better company to do work for you. Lenny and his crew did an exceptional job! The price was extremely Fair, the service was excellent, he showed up on time and had it completed in the timeframe he specified. Extremely happy with his work and absolutely recommend. Oh, and my wife is a tough customer to please!
